IT ALL STARTED WHEN…

we were locked inside in 2020. Like many of you, I had a lot of extra time on my hands during 2020! I’ve always known that I wanted to do something creatively as I like to think of myself as a pretty crafty person. I attempted several times between 2017-2019 to learn calligraphy but didn’t have the time to commit. As a teacher, my schedule changed enough that it allowed me to turn my would be hobby into a skill in early 2020. Intricate Knots Design Company officially launched in November, 2020 with the 2020 acrylic ornament collection.

In 2022, I expanded my business to include engraving which has become a new love of mine.

I’ve used the name Intricate Knots since around 2011, always with the intent of using it as my brand. Now many years later, it has turned into just that! I started the business with the name Designs by Intricate Knots but just recently made a change to Intricate Knots Design Company.

Here at Intricate Knots Design Company, we specialize in capturing life’s special moments and events using calligraphy to create personalized and customized gifts and signs. We are located in Cary, NC but ship throughout the United States.
